That's true in most cases! Although everything is negotiable in real estate, typically landlords sign listing agreements with agents and agree to cover the tenants' commission if they choose to be represented. Which by the way, we highly recommend!


Every case is different, but for the most part you should expect to pay first month's rent, the equivalent of the first month's rent as a refundable security deposit and an additional pet deposit (this can be refundable or not). Really it never hurts to get a jump start on searching for your perfect property. We recommend you contact us as soon as the thought of moving comes to mind. That being said, typically, you will want to start seriously applying about a month before your current lease is up in order to avoid an extra move or potential added fees.
